Some love stories begin with a single moment. Ours did not.
Long before we became a couple, our lives had been quietly crossing paths for years before we ever met. We both grew up in Youngstown, shared mutual friends, family connections, favorite places, and countless near misses that connected our worlds long before we realized it.
In true Millennial fashion, we were even Facebook friends years before either of us imagined we would one day build a life together. Against all algorithms, all timing, and nearly a decade of crossing paths, we somehow found our way to exactly where we were meant to be.
What followed wasn't defined by a single milestone, but by a collection of memories: month-aversaries that began because of a mistakenly booked Valentine's Day reservation; jazz nights, yoga classes, road trips, airport terminals, family gatherings, and adventures near and far. From standing in the rain in Groningen eating raw herring to hiking through a hailstorm on the Frisian Islands in search of the longest beach in Europe, we've never been short on stories.
Along the way, we've celebrated weddings, weathered losses, supported family and friends, and learned that love isn't about perfection—it's about choosing each other through every season of life.
Somewhere between the travel, the traditions, the laughter, the inside jokes, and all the beautiful chaos in between, we've built something extraordinary.
Not because it was perfect.
Because it was real.
And the best part is that we're still writing the story. We are so excited for you to join us for our wedding weekend as we begin our next chapter together.
